Amber Opens Up About Dreason

Amber's son, Dreason, had the brightest smile, and he'd always light up the room.

He was "that type of person that would always try to make
sure that everybody else was doing good, that they were having a great time," Amber recalls. But as Dreason developed a substance use disorder (SUD), his family struggled with how best to be there for him.

After losing Dreason to SUD, Amber became determined to share her family's story to help anyone who might be in a similar situation. She wants to be a support system for anyone who might be dealing with addiction but feels too embarrassed to reach out or seek treatment. "There's no shame in asking for help," Amber reminds us.
